A couple of weeks ago, eBags sent us the TLS Professional Slim Laptop Backpack to review. We were like, “Oh! Great timing! My husband needed a backpack for work.” When I opened the package, I saw this bag almost as big as the box in came in. It was light for its size and felt sturdy. I showed it to Ran and we immediately removed it from its plastic wrap and opened the compartments. We got excited as we knew it was goin to be perfect for his needs.
The product specifications of the bag are as follows (taken from the website):
Ran was able to try it out for 2 weeks at work. He typically takes a heavy laptop with him all the time. He is an I.T. Technician so you can just imagine how heavy and disorganized his bag can be. Here’s what he has to say about the eBags TLS Professional Slim Backpack:
My first impression of the bag is how well built it is from the outside. The paddings on the bag are well placed and very comfortable to wear. This is supposed to be a slim laptop bag but to my surprise it had more than enough space for my Dell Precision M6800. The bag has 3 large compartments for your laptop, notebooks/folders, and accessories you may need to bring for a business trip. The best part of this laptop in my opinion is the compartment on the bottom where you have a separate place for your laptop charger and other power supplies. I hate looking or digging for my AC adapter inside my bag, this compartment made for it is very helpful especially when you are running out of battery.
Have you ever had a laptop bag pack that slides down after putting it down against your desk? If you haven’t, I’m here to tell you that it’s very annoying when I have to pick up my bag pack every 15-30 minutes just to put it aside or take it out of way so my coworkers won’t accidentally step on it. If you have that problem, the TLS professional slim laptop bag pack will fix that problem for you. This will stay upright the whole day.
I have not traveled with this bag yet but I have tried it on our carry-on luggage and I was surprised at how easy the carry-on handles slide through the bag. This makes it so easy to drag with your luggage and it’s very stable/balanced while pulling or pushing your luggage.
Overall, I am very happy with this bag. For me, I need to have a laptop bag that is very accessible and easy to carry. It sits perfectly on my shoulders and back without experiencing any muscle strains. I don’t feel tired or exhausted after carrying it for a long period of time.
I highly recommend this laptop back pack to anyone who is looking for comfort and practicality. You can carry it over your shoulders or hide the straps by tucking it in inside and carry it like a briefcase.
I can see how happy he is with this bag. I can already predict that this will be used for both work and travel since we bring our laptop when we travel to do some work on the blog.
